It’s vital to be competitive in the Sports Bar arena. With a watering hole on almost every corner, standing out from the rest is imperative to survive the big stakes game of owning a restaurant. You need to have a brand identity and strategy in place that allows you to call the shots.

By understanding the key demographic with geo stats and ideal market research, we were able to create a brand and promotional system that was nimble, agile, and cohesive across the board that allowed us to help Fletchers tee up for the win.

Fortifying Fletchers Sports Bar to be the front runner.

Fletchers was looking to increase their foot traffic on Wednesday nights, a common issue in the hospitality industry. They were offering dollar pints for domestic beers to help increase revenue but weren’t getting the traction they needed. To help boost interest they created new appetizers, but that wasn’t working either. And as most businesses do, Fletchers was trying to make these pivots without branding. An issue they were dealing with from when they first launched.

Keeping it “ol’ skool”

As we started digging deeper, Fletchers expressed a keen interest in vintage appeal with an ol’ school flair.

Once we deciphered the main attributes that spoke to both Fletchers and their ideal customer, we started exploring different ways to re-design the brand, comming up with a look and feel that resonated with everyone involved.

Fletchers is a hip, outdoor patio bar with a local appeal that addresses the needs of young professionals, mostly men. They offer a few craft beers, but their main focal point is the tried and true wells with choice whiskey, scotch, vodka, and rum.

We approached their initial issues with a lack of business on Wednesday nights and assessed the newly developed appetizers.

We focused on these four main points and got to work:

  • Appeal to target Demo (Men 20-30s)
  • Discount on Domestic Drafts
  • Address Wednesday Pitfalls
  • Showcase new appetizer menu

Understanding the Parameters

Keeping our focus on the target audience, we explored several ways to incorporate the pain points and combine it all into one cohesive promotion.

Utilizing their newly built brand, coupled with the correct creative direction, we were able to devise a plan that Fletchers could deploy with confidence and create the results they were after.
