LayerMates approached Jason of Cohesive Media to create a logo and package illustration that resonated with a very broad demographic. This inventive new garment was the solution to adjusting your comfort level in any climate for men, woman, athletes, and the workforce. He focused on the logo and then moved forward with a classic approach on illustration to demonstrate the advantages of their new garment, the Slickie.
STREAMLINED AND CLASSIC
Like every brand, the logo, and illustration needed to be easy to read and identifiable to a broad audience. What sets the LayerMates brand apart is the two main areas of focus for the demographics. It needed to have a streamlined look, similar to an athletic brand, but with a classic take. Since the directions on how to use the garment is a little bit tricky to convey, the logo and brand needed to be simple to pair. Jason of Cohesive Media focused on the main letters L & M, and fused iconography that resembles the garment.
The results yielded a product that flourished in sales on an independent level and soon can be found in department stores, nationwide.
